RE: Costco RV purchase Program

I just checked this out online and it states that you can save UP to 25% off MSRP. I also wanted to find participating dealers in my area and had to fill out a form which at the end says a dealership will be calling me soon. And there were 6 listed so I guess now I'll get phone calls eventhough I was just curious more than anything.
FOLLOW UP;
I just received an email from COSTCO and it had one dealership listed and one dearler who will contact me. I am also attaching the rest of the info sent.
This dealer will call you within 24 hours to set up an appointment, or you may call the dealership yourself at any time. Make sure you speak ONLY with the Authorized Dealer Contact listed above to ensure that you receive Costco RV Buying Program pricing and service.
When you arrive at the dealership, show your Costco membership card to the Authorized Dealer Contact. After you have selected a vehicle, the Authorized Dealer Contact will present to you your customized Member-Only Price Quote. This document shows the exclusive Costco pricing and demonstrates your savings as a Costco member.
If you have a trade-in, the Authorized Dealer Contact will prepare an RV Trade-in Evaluation Worksheet, which clearly explains the dealer's trade-in offer.
If you have questions or concerns at any point during the RV buying process, our Member Advocates are available to assist you. You can reach a Member Advocate by calling 1-800-556-4730 or clicking on the e-mail link below.
Thank you for choosing the Costco Auto Programâ?Ts RV-buying service. We welcome your comments about your experience with our program. We will follow up with you in the near future and hope you will take a few moments to tell us about your experience.

Repo'd RVs

With so many people having to walk away from their homes, will there also be RVs left behind? If an RV gets repo'd where does it go? How does one go about finding these?

RE: Rut Ro....Kid is 6'4"... forgot this detail in my B searches

IMHO I'd buy what "I" wanted. Looks like your son will only spend limited time with you anyway and for those short periods he can crouch a bit etc.

RE: Uhhh... I WAS NOT expecting this!

Quick question;
If people are buying Bs as a second vehicle etc. isn't there a down side during resale as these RVs will have an awful lot of miles on them?

RE: Small Safe in my RT

In our last 5er there was a safe hidden under the step that led to the bedroom area. The stair lifted up and the lockbox was underneath but I'm not sure how it was affixed to the floor. It was just a metal box with a key lock, not the heavy duty fire safe kind.

Is it ok; RV plugged into house electric while in driveway

Ok, at another forum the discussion came about having your RV plugged into your house electric while it sits in your driveway. It was suggested that something electric in the unit must be kept running, like the fridge, or this will harm your batteries or some such. Really? Help!

RE: B-sized microwave

My question is "why do they put only a microwave in the Bs anyway"? Seem everyone then has to run out and buy a toaster oven/convection combo. I would prefer a micro/convect combo from the git go. JMHO

RE: Agile Opinions and Questions

Don,
I had been checking into the Bs online and had not seen one closeup until my closest RV dealer got in some Views. My first thought was it look bulky, heavy and way too long. I also didn't care at all for the inside; overhead bunk was a deal breaker, had to almost crawl into the driver's seat and I felt the quality of the materials wasn't there. The slide only seemed to enforce my thoughts of it being heavy.

RE: Agile Opinions and Questions

After reading the posts in this discussion something else popped up in my mind about generators; propane vs gasoline. Just how quickly does the propane go vs gasoline. Then is the gasoline generator more noisy than the propane, more exhaust etc?
Thanks up front!

RE: Pleasure Way body/chassi/motor help!

abbyarts
They didn't have the Lexor there. I would have loved to have tried it out. The Excel TS fit me like a glove. The driver's seat was very comfortable, easy to get in and out, as was the side opening. It just felt right but I didn't want to only love what my eyes saw. I need to do my homework on the inner workings of the unit, too, especially on the engine. I'm hearing that a diesel engine is the way to go for longevity and good mileage. But that seems to add tons of $$ to the price tag.
